As a Black person I clearly see July 4 as a day of hypocrisy and blatant contradictions as well as an outright lie.

The 1619 project educated me on the fact history stated slavery became legal in 1776 due to the start of America, but enslaved Africans were brought to VA one of the colonies some 157 years earlier.<br>I thank you for that.

I am so proud of these Black intellectuals, the professors, teachers, mentors, historians, writers, authors, and leaders teaching and rectifying our story...the "Pellet" (the poison) remains the same, the "Vessel" (the delivery system) is the entirety of Western civilization’s version of human development; its nature is a corrupt, constantly evolving criminal enterprise striving to maintain its validity in a changing world.
