I've always said, if there was one celebrity that I could meet and sit down and have a beer with, it would be Vince Gill. He is so brutally honest and unpretentious as can be.

Just listened to this episode on Apple Podcasts and loved it! So happy to know they are on YouTube! Great episode and great stories. Vince Gill has been my favorite country singer for many years - love that voice and those lyrics!! And Phil - what can I say - Everybody Loves Phil! ❤😊

My favorite singer still. I like those songs that suck you in with the first three of four sentences. There are a lot of country songs that do that.

After this, I don't know if I can walk past the Chef Boy Ar Dee (he was real) display with a straight face? The values that he was brought up on haven't left him despite the fame. Like many a boomer, his parents lived through a war and a great depression and as such, their value system was pretty basic as to how they saw life. <br><br>It would be nice if the hypochristians left his wife alone as they were meant to be together. Some of the comments about her betrayal of Christian values are simply disgusting. You can see their happiness in the joint things that they do, and they deserve respect for being first and foremost, 24/7 friends as well as a couple past a milestone wedding anniversary.. <br><br>One piece of advice, if you listen to the podcasts that go with his 50-year retrospective, listen on background as you get to hear and appreciate Vince Gill as a person, rather than watching the performer, Vince Gill. I found it to be a more rewarding experience, fan or not of his work, for him to be simply himself.
