This is so eye opening for me. I understand my own childhood as a little girl and my alcoholic dad's own frustration, anger, and belt beatings towards us five kids, my only brother the youngest, and my mom was the supporter of the family. We were so happy when they divorced when four of us kids were still at home.

I, an american woman, am soooo happy Scott Galloway is talking about this serious problem. Who are we as a society and how unhealthy we are -- emotionally and physically -- the food we eat: junk food. How can we heal.

Lewis describes a woman who worked hard to provide and then had a child and was very happy - this means (to Lewis) that women have been lied to. the illogic here is incredible!!!

No small part of this is that we are all exposed to images of elite wealth, power, looks, without any realistic expectations or reliable guidance on how we get there. Everyone laments the CURRENT shortcomings of available partners instead of helping someone else get to amazing WITH you.
