  Even though Nick probably didn't mean it, Jade 100% showed signs of being interested in girls. Whether it's her "feud" with Tori or her motherly instinct of Cat, if it wasn't a kid's show Bade probably wouldn't have been a thing for very long.

  See the reasoning behind Jade being jealous of Tori just makes a lot of sense. It’s not just about beauty or popularity, but Jade is probably just jealous of how perfect Tori’s life is and how she’s easily accepted by everyone around her, unlike herself. It’s also implied that Jade was very popular before Tori came around, and it makes Jade angry that she can’t be known as a benevolent popular girl.
