I never saw that twisting biceps shot at the end for either guy. Common knowledge Sergio had massive arms, but Larry proving why he was the first ever Mr Olympia. Incredible!

I attended the first 6 Olympia contests. in NYC and while Scott was better in 1966, after that Sergio would have been the clear winner. If they had met again.   But to this day I still consider Larry's arms the GOAT.

Hail to both of these great champions, for in both, each one of them showed their best for their time. Larry Scott ushered in a whole new phase of bodybuilding which has kept professional bodybuilding alive for decades to follow. Larry Scott will always be remembered as bodybuildings first King of the Mr. Olympia crown. After taking on all competition and defending the title of Mr. Olympia for another year in 1966, he humbly retired undefeated. Sergio Oliva was a whole new breed of bodybuilder who combined great size with   definition, shape and symmetry. His like had never been seen before and thus was called "The MYTH". These two great bodybuilders had truly set the stage for many others to follow( including Arnold Schwartzennegger.)  Larry Scott and Sergio Oliva both stand alone in their prime. Others may imitate but none can duplicate these two immortals of the muscle world. 💪 MUSCLE UP!

Sergio never really in great condition think that is where Arnold beat him. Sergio freaky proportions but Larry a great balanced physique. Between the two I would pick Larry's physique. Larry a true Olympian till the end, never got out of shape always a gentlemen great role model. Unlike my sunken heros Shaun Ray and Flex Wheeler 👎 Francis Benfato, Samir Banout, Jay Cutler, Phill Heath all keeping it going💪. Seth Ferocy my all time bodybuilding inspiration HWMF 🏆💪 Thanks for the video Marx Max

Larry was more polished in 66. Sergio was still new to training, working a full time job digging ditches and living on rice and beans and coca cola. But it was obvious he was soon going to be unstoppable .  I spoke with Don Howorth who dabbled with the idea on entering the Olympia but realized nobody was going to be Sergio. And then...
