  Can&apos;t believe how much the Brikstal Glacier has changed in just 2 years since we were there. <br>Really enjoying this series, it&apos;s bringing back some very happy memories

  I&apos;m Sick as a Bloody Parrot!!! &nbsp;Ten years ago, I was fit enough to have been able to have joined you, but age and recent health issues. no longer make that possible. &nbsp;I&apos;m 78 and really hating getting old. &nbsp;That said, I can&apos;t complain too much, as I&apos;ve led a very active life, from &apos;Bog Trotting&apos; to Morris Dancing... and a few other things in between. &nbsp;Thanks for &apos;Taking me with you&apos;, so to speak. &nbsp;Great views of both the Glacier and Waterfalls and the view of the Fjords from the top of the mountain. &nbsp;Looking forward to episode 4. &nbsp;Cheers, Russ.

  Beautiful place, ive done this cruise twice and have really enjoyed your videos , its so nice to see someone who is really appreciating this cruise, its usually people who moan moan moan, thanks

  Like you, I’d been doing the same thing every year holiday wise and decided to book a cruise &nbsp;and had decided to do the fjords four years ago - don’t regret it at all!<br><br>When I did the sky lift, a couple came up in the cable car with parapets and they flew down to lorn, landing in the campsite!<br><br>I met someone who’d set off very early from the boat and walked up from the bottom lift station to the top one and beyond to that summit - someone else had done both way!

  Absolutely breathtaking views everywhere you pointed your camera Chris. It is a world away from manufacturing world class guitar amps in your workshop, as interesting as that may be. Looking forward to more content.

  Can’t work out how to add a pic of when we walked up in 2006, the ice was actually to the bottom of the cliff touching the lake, its amazing to see how much its receded in 20 years .

  No, Olden is not far north in Norway. It is not even close to the middle of the country. Winters are quite mild in this part of Norway, though of course it is colder up in the mountains. In the winter I often take the gondola up to Mount Hoven and ski for several kilometers into the mountains.<br><br>Otherwise, great video from this area. Very good!

  Amazing, I think you struck it lucky, with the troll cars being sold out, you saw so much more walking up, than from a car!<br>Looking forward to retracing your steps in September!<br>We&apos;re enjoying your style of videos!<br>The glacier has retreated so far in 70yrs!<br>Did you walk from the ship, or get a coach part way, missed that bit!

  Fantastic video! I’m going in two weeks on Celebrity Apex but will be docked in Nordfjordeid. I only have time for one of those places. Which would you recommend, the Skylift or Briksdal Glacier? They are both beautiful!
