I love us kiwis in New Zealand..our huts literally can save your life but the terrain is definitely unforgiving as it is breathtaking.<br>I've been walking for 2 years Around new Zealand so glad I've had no bad injuries yet I don't even want to imagine sliding off a cliff.<br>Those two in the Alaska imagine that moment for all these guys when you literally see someone and know your finally actually going to be saved.

I have watched some stories for several times, - all the stories of "I shouldn't be alive" my inspirations - Like to see more new stories, this story has come with a new thumbnail and a heading

I Shouldn't Be Alive" originally premiered on October 28, 2005, on the Discovery Channel. The docuseries, which features reenactments of incredible true survival stories, ran for six seasons and aired its final episode on February 24, 2012.

I can understand wanting to hike alone and enjoy the solitude but Matt's story is a cautionary tale. You can hike with someone and still do it in such a way as for both of you to get your space.

I really don't understand how a outdoorsman and pilot since a decade can go away with a friend without telling anyone where they are going and without warm clothes and stuff, just in case. To do as you please when alone is one thing, but with a passenger?

Tramping in NZ is amazing. And the tracks are world class with easy medium difficult and difficult options so bushwhacking is insane unless one is climbing peaks or other specific location off piste
