  Vernias has the most tragic arc out of any Party Crasher. Unlucky from the minute they started playing together, all of that manifested into a series of indescribably frustrating defeats and horrendously unfortunate turns of events, manifesting into hatred and anger that would drive even those who are pure of heart to twisted corruption. It took until Wario’s Battle Canyon for Vernias to win a non-gimmicky game - and I popped off just about as hard as he did. He even had the benefit of winning another game since then… but, by that point, all of his suffering and anger had permanently turned him nearly as toxic as everybody else (sans Brent). Once you cross a certain toxicity threshold, there’s no going back - and Vernias has crossed it. Our sweet, innocent boy is gone. He is no longer the Vern Victim. He is the Vern Villain.
