I often see Western men dating Thai ladyboys, and I genuinely have no issue with that. But I don’t understand why so many of them feel the need to constantly defend or explain their sexuality —saying things like ‘I’m not gay,’ ‘I just love one person,’ or ‘I see her as a real woman.’ To me, it comes off like they’re trying really hard to justify themselves to the public or prove they’re still ‘normal’ in some way. But here in Thailand, nobody really judges or discriminates based on that.
