Yeah, we entered WWII after Pearl Harbor in Dec 1941 and didn't start making the car builders scale back on metal usage until Feb 1942.

A “pre-war” gem. Unless this rig was built in the last 24 days of December, 1941, it was built in the pre-war, pre-rationing era and should/could have had all the goodies like stainless steel, chrome, and aluminum doo-dads. Treat this old girl right, I know you will. Thanks for showing us what you’re doing and thinking. Tell Jamie we still miss seeing and hearing her.
