  To regret your tattoos because they're no longer "in trend" means you should have never gotten tattoos in the first place, if you only got them to be hip and trendy.

  The People regretting their tattoos over aesthetics such as ‘clean girl’ & ‘old money’ are definitely the type of people who only got their tattoos when it was trendy, not saying people can’t regret tattoos from years prior, but over aesthetic trends?! Is wild

  it’s frustrating to know that so many people equate tattoos and piercings with being “dirty” when in reality they are some of the most classic, traditional practices of adorning oneself in non-eurocentric cultures.

  I still don’t get why people say “you wouldn’t put a bumper sticker on a Bentley” and like… why not? I like decorating my car, doesn’t matter to me how expensive or cheap it is.

  I feel like most people who regret their tattoos got them when it was trendy and cool, not because they wanted tattoos. They wanted to fit the “trend” and, as trends do, it switched to the opposite and now they cannot fit this new trend and are upset. Get tattoos because you like it, not cuz its trendy. Its permanent ffs.

  Honestly, it took longer than I thought for the tattoo fad to go away.  I guess it takes a while for the ink to fade and start to look like shit. Then kids see all these faded, wrinkly tattoos and know they are a mistake.

  who would’ve guessed the pinterest tattoo girlies could ever regret their ink, it’s not like anybody told them copying random designs just cause they look cool was a bad idea…

  I guess that is what happens when you only got tattoos because it was a "trend." I love my tattoos! I feel more like myself with every new tattoo I get. My body is an art museum that I get to decorate with all the art that I love 🖤
