  Tulum is very well known for exotorion. A simple search will tell you that. They should have expected they would be extorted there and that everything is a scam.

  The girl who said Rio was ghetto, did not lie that was the most impoverished country I’ve ever seen and I’ve been to a lot in Central America. The street smell like feces using urine… so is common to get sick multiple times during your trip. The humidity is out of this world, which is also humidifying the pollution and urine. The streets are &nbsp;dirty even the tourist attractions look like they never get cleaned.. and all the major beaches have dirty brown or green water and the only clear beach is Ipanema, but that has such ginormous waves…No one goes in the water except locals otherwise you’ll legit die in that water. &nbsp;Rio was a definite wake up call that were you see online about Brazil is smoke and mirrors
