Very heavy people (250 lbs +) are going to have muscle in their legs especially just to carry around the weight. As the weight decreases, that muscle isn't needed anymore; but exercise (weight lifting) to keep it helps the metabolism. Trouble is, not everyone heavy feels like exercising or going to the gym, or can afford it.

Things I'm having to relearn while on semaglutide (7weeks in, 20lbs down) after decades of diet culture BS.<br>1. Carbs are not my enemy. My body now processes foods like potatoes in an energy burning rather than a fat storing way.<br><br>2. Eating 900kcals or less is not a flex. And now that I can't physically consume more volume, I'm avoiding all the low calorie, low fat foods to reach my 1200 cals... and then not feeling guilt for having eaten 1200 cals.<br><br>3. Not eating all day is not doable or sustainable. No more fasting.<br><br>And owning a smart scale was my best decision. Knowing I'm losing fat and my muscle mass and water is increasing is so validating I'm doing things right

I started on a microdose Tirzepatide (1.25mg) 5 months ago- seemed like I should increase it, but didn’t really have a good reason to do so- weight loss, though slow, had been consistent- down 23 lbs.(initially wanting to only lose 25-30 lbs), I recently learned about dosing every 5 days, and it is so much better. Since I had never increased my dose, we decided to stay on the same micro dose, just taken every 5 days. So wonderful with feeling consistent and not days where the food noise is loud. This keeps my protein goals attainable and taking the very lowest dose that still provides the help needed. I’m honestly amazed at how high these dosages are on here. Just starting out, start low!! Great video!

1. Persistent Fatigue & Metabolic Slowdown:<br>Feeling exhausted, cold, losing hair, or having brain fog, often linked to a lower thyroid function (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulIGaAI--Mk&t=108">1:48</a> - <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulIGaAI--Mk&t=269">4:29</a>).<br>2. Muscle Weakness: Feeling physically weaker, experiencing difficulty with daily tasks like climbing stairs, or noticing a gaunt appearance as the body burns muscle for energy (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulIGaAI--Mk&t=363">6:03</a> - <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulIGaAI--Mk&t=516">8:36</a>).<br>4. Overly Rapid Weight Loss: Losing more than 2.5 pounds per week, which often signals a loss of muscle mass rather than fat (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulIGaAI--Mk&t=516">8:36</a> - <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulIGaAI--Mk&t=682">11:22</a>).<br>5. Digestive Issues: Experiencing "sulfur burps," heartburn, or the feeling that food is sitting in your chest due to excessively slowed stomach emptying<br>(<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulIGaAI--Mk&t=682">11:22</a> - <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulIGaAI--Mk&t=831">13:51</a>).<br>6. I have struggled on and off with the flat mood aka "Ozempic personality" since beginning my GLP1 journey. Half dosing twice a week seems to help.

This video should be played in every doctor’s office to educate the public. A lot physicians that prescribed this medication doesn’t not know how to educate the patients they are prescribing this medication for. It is up to the patient to be self aware.

Was on Ozempic for 3 months and lost 30 pounds. I then tried Zepbound 2.5 mg. Did not lose anything. Tried the higher dose of 0.5 and got extremely sick. I was in bed for 5 days and was vomitting. Now I'm on Rena at 1mg. So far so good but have no appetite. I have to force myself to eat.
