  To this day, I always see the elimination chamber nowadays like a modern WWE playset rather than a structure that is dangerous and painful as hell in a cell.

  They should have kept No Way Out. At least with that, it gave the illusion of danger by the ppv name itself and also for the chamber to potentially be announced. I like the idea of the chamber being the last-ditch effort before mania; it&apos;s like warriors fighting for their final shot, which could tie into the theme of the chamber as a dangerous structure. If the winner of the rumble is a RAW or SmackDown superstar, then the other show should have the chamber and bring back the beat the clock challenge week to week to decide who comes out of the pod last. And then on the go home show before the chamber, have an in ring segement with all 6 competitors. Really build it, and that could build feuds as well. That would actually get people interested in the weekly show, the chamber itself without changing the layout of the structure.

  I remember when the movie theatre here had the PPVs on. For less than it cost for a movie ticket. I’d go with my grandfather and uncle every one. The first chamber match ever on the big movie screen was something else

  Matches like Hell in a Cell and Elimination Chamber need to be matches that can happen at any time of the year but only when the booking and story calls for them to happen. Have a heel that keeps running away and sneak attacking the baby face? Hell in a Cell. A bunch of guys who hate each other and wanna bash each other&apos;s brains in for the title? Elimination Chamber. But this is only when the <b>story</b> calls for it.

  The problem with the current chamber is it not only has lessened itself by becoming its own PLE, but it has now lessened the royal rumble.<br>Lessening the rumble should be illegal.

  The original 2002 Survivor Series Elimination Chamber with Shawn Michaels, Kane, Chris Jericho, RVD, Triple H, and Booker T, unfortunately has never been beaten, it’s still the best and will unfortunately always be the best Chamber match.<br><br>The 2nd best Elimination Chamber was the 2005 New Years Revolution Elimination Chamber with Triple H, Batista, Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, Edge, and Shawn Michaels as Special Referee.<br><br>The 3rd best Elimination Chamber was the 2003 SummerSlam Elimination Chamber with Goldberg, Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton, Triple H, and Kevin Nash, it was good up until the finish when the wrong guy in Hunter won.<br><br>The 4th best Elimination Chamber was the 2006 New Years Revolution Elimination Chamber with John Cena, Kurt Angle, Kane, Shawn Michaels, Carlito, and Chris Masters, while it wasn’t as good as the previous 3 and Vince always had an obsession with having 3 Babyfaces and 3 Heels in the match which is why Triple H and Big Show wasn’t in it, even though they should’ve been, this Chamber is mostly remembered for the amazing ending with Edge cashing in his MITB.<br><br>Outside of those first 4 Chamber matches, it’s been downhill ever since.<br><br>The 2006 ECW December To Dismember Extreme Elimination Chamber was a disaster, and since 2008 it’s been mainly who gets the Main Event Spot at Mania.<br><br>WWE changing to PG really hurt matches like Elimination Chamber, Hell In A Cell, TLC, MITB, and Extreme Rules matches, because those matches don’t belong in a PG environment.<br><br>And I HATE the new design of the Elimination Chamber, looks less dangerous.

  The biggest issue with the elimination chamber and hell in a cell was giving them their own pay per views making them gimmick matches instead of surprises
