  As a Filipino, our culture is communal. Western people will often feel uncomfortable or that we are intrusive. But that is the enemy's tactic - isolation. Communal culture helps a lot with regulating negative emotions and our mental health is better. The most common thing I see for westerners on TV is they say sorry when they cry. Like it is a crime and shameful to cry, that you will be labelled overly dramatic. We scratch our heads about that. Crying is a normal response to let out emotions, its human, shows that you can feel. Then you feel better after crying.

  The enemy wants us fearing how we’re raising our children, so that we’re not actually just enjoying the experience. Fear is always of the enemy.

  I cannot cry in front of my husband. I can really only cry at Mass. I can’t get through Mass without crying these days. It makes him very uncomfortable and as a child he was punished for crying so even our children crying upsets him. Pray for those who have been programmed to be stoic and not accept the emotions of others, especially those we love.

  I deleted my social media when I was pregnant. My son is now almost 2. I have never been able to connect with God until now. I just bought her book!

  Lila Rose, THIS is THE Podcast I have NEEDED MY Entire Life!!!! I’m almost 75 and I felt injustice when I was very young because “boys” could be Altar &nbsp;Boys and I couldn’t!! They didn’t even care about God and I Loved Him deeply,?from the age of four!!!! Hence the internal struggle with “a perceived injustice!” <br><br>Your WONDERFUL guest unveils THAT struggle WITH solutions!!! FINALLY!! I just bought her kindle version with Audio!!!   I have such a hard time trusting other women. &nbsp;I love them but keep them at a distance. &nbsp;I wish I had a woman in my life who delighted in me and celebrated me, someone who could help me see my gifts and goodness.

  This came out at the perfect time! My husband just deployed and he’ll be gone for a year. I have a 1 and 2 year old and I’m so scared of doing it by myself. After hearing this it’s brought me so much comfort and shifted my mind. I just have to surrender to God during this time🩷

  I had my first last year. I have no familial support, as I had an abusive mother. I remember being in the throes of postpartum with professionals pushing a lot of different things that did not sit well with me. For nights in a row, while walking my baby to sleep, I&apos;d question if I was just hormonal and insane for not agreeing with others. I started just reciting the rosary out loud while walking during this time, oftentimes bawling from despair and fear. I remember a voice inside of me, which I wholeheartedly believe it was Our Lady, say, &quot;You are his mother. You will know when something is wrong. You will know. This is a test of your faith. You will know.&quot; I followed this voice and it led me down a beautiful path. I tell my husband that I co-parent with our Lord and Mary. HE provides where we lack. NEVER forget that.

  Just finished reading the book, and I absolutely loved it. It was so convicting, but I also felt like Emily completely understood thoughts I&apos;ve had for years. It was almost as if she read my diary and prayer journal, and then eloquently reversed my perspective on the lies of the enemy.<br><br>​You go through life getting advice, but then you have those moments where you hear the exact same truth from a different person in a different way, and it just clicks. That happened to me multiple times with this book! I was also surprised by some new takes on things I don&apos;t usually focus on, but that my dear friends definitely struggle with. 100% recommending this to the women in my life.

  My husband wants another child and I’m the one who is stuck in so much doubt. On the way to visit my friend and her newborn today I cried my heart out while listening to gospel music and then I hear in this interview “if god wants to give you the gift of another child.”
