  This was a great lesson. Yesterday I had a lesson (we played the front nine,) from a PGA golfer who identified that my backswing was too vertical, as you mentioned, & saw that I was favoring my right shoulder causing problems with contact & face angle. It was a shock because my shoulder had been bothering me for a couple weeks but I hadn’t made the connection that it was the main cause of my poor performance lately. I’m playing again today & hope to incorporate your backswing tips. Thank you.

  Good stuff!! I'm working on banking of the trail foot. That seems to help get weight shift going in the correct direction.  It's seem to do this as I start down I must flex my lead knee slightly. IS this correct? Would like to see something on that.

  thanks for sharing. I think every coach in YouTube teaches the back swing but no body takes it from there. Thats what I would love to see in YouTube. From top of backswing, you shift your pivot point to lead leg. The top of my backswing is steep compared to some/many. By shifting my weight I can feel the club naturally shallowing. Does the club come from the inside to hit the ball with my irons?
