  When music had meaning and pure raw talent.... using her platform to call out corruption. She lost everything for it . . . and STILL stood by her values. She deserves a massive public apology.

  This was one of the first songs Sinead wrote, by herself. Prior to this session, she said she had never even sung with reverb on her voice! When she recorded the vocals, she was alone in the room with the producer outside the door listening through the door, amazed. When he came back in he played the track over and over, just shaking his head, unable to believe what she had done. Sinead said "I played the guitar like crap, I had two elbows for hands, I played 4 songs I had and I was amazed that they even liked them at all!"

  I'm sure we will never see her likes again.  So honest, brave, raw, exposes the machine for what it is and was and got castigated for doing so.  Thank you for your bravery, artistry and your amazing voice and lastly having the balls to wake people up.  Someone way ahead of her time.  RIP Sinead.

  One of the brightest, bravest, most beautiful. insightful, bravest beings that ever lived.  The world was not ready for her.  She lived and sang her truth.

  I was there at that performance . Stunning. Such a pure voice and soul. Went to her next concert after Nothing Compares came out. Suddenly so much production. It didn't have as much impact. This was authentic.

  I'm in my 40s now. Father to two kids. A lifetime ago I saw this concert on channel 4  (remember 4 channels?) and whacked a videeo in to record it. I fell in love with her from this performance. Years pass, a lifetime really. But it's still one of the best live performances ever.  God she was fearless and beautiful.
