I adore Vati’s telling of the souls lore.
Very much recommend any of his “prepare to cry” videos as they go into individual stories of characters in the games

Vaati is a legend int his fandom. He is the man that builds the narrative for these games, makes sense of everything you encountered and reveals everything you missed.

He also had an episode that was a warning, he fabricated a connection between Bloodborne and Demon's Souls and after providing a video that really solidified that connection, he pulls the rug out from under you and reveals that most of it only works because he made up big portions of it and omitted any info that was counter to it, just to weave a really good narrative.

Dear, oh dear. What was it? The hunt, the blood, or the horrible dream? Oh, it doesn't matter.
It always comes down to the hunter's helper to clean up after these sorts of messes.

Tonight, Gehrman joins the hunt...

There is a saying in bloodborne "75% of the enemies are f-able"

Fun Fact: Bloodborne has something called Chalice Dungeons which are basically predesigned dungeons that you can spawn in or even put in their world seed code for a generated dungeon. One of the most popular dungeons is literally spelled “CUMMMFPK” for its easy grinding abilities. We’re talking hugging the left wall just outside of the starting point and let the cash roll in (that’s 83k without runes that boost blood echos).

Mechanical Engineer here, not in the oil industry, but love expanding what people know. For each 42-gallon barrel of oil (petroleum) extracted from the ground, only about 19 gallons is used for gasoline. The rest is used to make a HUGE list of products. If you can think of anything made of plastic, it came from oil. Here's a short list of other uses for petroleum:

Bearing Grease -pretty much anything that mechanically requires lubrication
Tires
Bicycle tires
nail polish
antiseptics
fertilizers
pesticides and herbicides
certain paints
various synthetic clothing
synthetic rubbers
asphalt
packaging materials
detergents
nylon rope -pretty much anything with nylon in it for that matter
trash bags
balloons
etc.

In fact, fun little challenge: tap on the back of your monitor. Is it plastic? Then it came from oil. Let's keep going. Look around for anything that's made of plastic or can be described with the word 'synthetic'. count them up. This includes your keyboard, mouse, earbuds/earphones, Lotion bottles, The plastic lid on my jar of peanuts, my mousepad, the insulation on my cables, etc.

Just in my immediate reach I count 23 items that contain plastic, hence were made from oil.

Feel free to double check the items on my list, I pulled those from memory but I'm sure you can rabbit hole dive if you do some research.

AND THANKS FOR THE VIDEO!!!!

immediate edit: I remember there's a lot of oil uses in the medical field
