  I knew about the &apos;hedgehog&apos; &amp; it&apos;s greater kill rate than standard anti-sub weapons, BUT I didn&apos;t know the story behind it. Great job Jeffers &amp; Go England.

  I never heard about this before, my dad like all of the WWII Veterans that I grew up with never talked about their war experiences. I had an Uncle that was a Paratrooper and he survived and my other uncle was in the Army and I was never told where they were sent but I assume into the European front and my Step Grandfather who was my Grandmother’s second husband because her first died served as a Medic because he was so big and strong that he could carry an injured soldier out by himself. My dad was the only Sailor serving in the South Pacific fighting the Japanese and when he was hand carrying a message to the Captain in the heat of a battle did tell me that a Japanese pilot saw him and dove his plane firing his machine gun trying to kill my dad but he missed,thank you God for bringing all of my relatives home alive.
