  When you got that balance of “yes I can do this myself” and “I am open to receiving help especially as I know he enjoys feeling helpful too” so I accept his help and allow him to do things for me. Because I recognise it’s a partnership and in order to have balance we both need to share in taking action/supporting one another (to avoid creating the dynamic where everything rests on my shoulders). And then because I’m not having to be in my masculine (doing taking action) energy all the time, instead I get to be in my feminine (restoring, connecting, creating) and nurture myself and the relationship. I decided to put down the burden of ‘handling it all’, and realised I thrive most in my feminine energy especially when I arrive at a place of trusting that I can rely on someone (while knowing I could also handle things if needed). Blessed be 🙏🏼

  Omg when you described the “lazy” partner that was a spot on description of my ex husband. I did everything even fixed the house like you said 😂 and I legit told him at one point I felt abandoned in the marriage and alone (just like you said) and yes I also thought at one point I might as well be alone because it wouldn’t be much different probably better! I left him 6 months ago and I was right life is SO MUCH BETTER lol. Been working on myself physically, mentally, spiritually, and I feel like there’s a real man, a soulmate, is very close. I’m also moving to Colorado in a few weeks and I have this weird intuitive feeling I’m going to meet my soulmate out there 😊 we’ll see!

  Wow. Literally had a first date the day you posted. And it was incredible!! Felt this exact energy you describe, sweet, playful, attraction, and like we instantly clicked. Trying to keep my feet on the ground as this feeling is so beautiful. I’m coming out of a decade that involved so much loss and heartache, including divorce, death etc. Through it all, kept my faith, stayed true to my path and finishing up my first, soon to be released book of poems &amp; writings on life, loss &amp; spirituality.
