Best regional pilot realistic overview I’ve seen. I hope you make more of these. Thank you

Coming from a current CFI, your flight instructor comment hit hard. The grass is greener.. the grass is greener..

I work in the oil industry and work 3 weeks on 3 weeks off. The time on is hard, but 3 weeks off feels insane. It is like every bit of time off is a vacation most people dont get all year.
I dont have a wife or kids which makes it easier, but man, irregular schedule works well for me

I thought this was one of the best airline pay videos. It appreciates the job but shows the harsh reality of the life you life with the good and the bad.

I’ve been thinking of switching careers from finance/investments to being a pilot. Been doing a lot of research and I’ll start going through your videos. Subscribed!

Most people would complain about all that, but you've got your head on right. You're living the dream! Thanks for sharing this great perspective and very real insight of being a pilot. I hope to be where you are soon, time to get back to the books :)

To miss regular events like 4 of July for 11k$ is a great trade off especially for 11 paid days off. Nothing to complain about

The difference between commuting and living in base is insane. I’m a first year regional FO and made ~$12k working 4 days in the month. Living in base is amazing.

The flipside of that story as you get to see the fireworks, but then Monday morning you go into a miserable office job

I am 46. Have been in my technical career field for 28 years with a BS and MS. I work 45 hours per week and earn about $85 per hour. You're doing quite well at your age 🎉
