  As of July 3, 2022, every member that served in Easy Company during World War II has passed away.  Rest in Power, Easy Company.

  What about the scene wheee the German officer addressed his men before his formal surrender to Lipton? That scene was so powerful.. Best mini series ever!

  FINALLY got round to watching Band Of Brothers. Just finished it 4 hours ago. Opened YouTube and this is the first thing I saw. Excellent timing.

  As much as Sobel deserves the scorn he got from Easy and really everyone, dude was an inadvertent hero. No chance Easy becomes who they needed to be if he wasn't the exact person he was in training them.

  The Last Patrol was by far my favorite episode. My dad was in the U.S. Army, 36th mechanized cavalry, he was a cav scout. He had told me stories growing up what he had done and the combat he was involved in.  I could only get a small sense of what he did.  When the series came out, I would watch them with him.  We usual talked through them and his share experiences.  When The Last Patrol came out and the preparation for them mission started he went dead silent, I was aware enough not to talk.  At the end of the episode he turned to me and said, now you know what I did during the war.  He passed away in 2005,  on every rewatch I have that memory.

  Watched the first two episodes last night on the anniversary of their release, and will watch one a week as per the original schedule. I'm already struggling to wait! The greatest show to ever grace our screens.
