  Fantastic video of one of the World's most stunning lines. I've hiked both ends as far as the tunnel mouths. The hike from Realp to Furka was undertaken in October 2020 about one week after the line had closed for the season. Already it had suffered from landslips and huge boulders falling on the line! Once 2000m was attained, there was snow everywhere. An unforgettable experience!

  Astonishingly beautiful.<br><br>I did drive the 3 connecting passes (Furka, Gotthard and Nufenen) by car, many years ago, and the entire area is stunning - but by train you get to see places that look completely deserted and untouched by humans (except for the train, obviously 😜)...<br><br>Thank you for sharing this! 🙏🇨🇭

  Bahnstrecken oberhalb der Baumgrenze sind in West- und Mitteleuropa sehr selten und immer etwas besonderes. Der Scheiteltunnel wirkt sehr schmal für heutige Maßstäbe. Aber er reicht aus. Danke an Paolo, uns auf die interessante Fahrt mitgenommen zu haben.
