  Hi there not sure if anyone has mentioned it before but you need to drop your base logs as close to your concrete supports ideally sitting on them dont worry so much about being perfectly level this will prevent the log wobbling which your getting a lot of and will offer a 1000 times more support. great job so far ps buy a few log dogs they will stop log rolling when your peeling them

  You're getting it done ! Two things to consider. Burn, burn, burn...burn brush every chance you get. It clears your way, and you avoid moving it multiple times. Also they have rope winches ( gas powered) that would make your life much easier. Cabin river outdoors uses one.

  Josh, debark your logs where they lay on the ground before you move them to the build site.  They slide easier over the ground and you don't have the peeled bark laying around that you have to clean up later as you finish your home.  A hand crank boat winch works great for moving logs also.  Great job on your house so far.....

  I suggest you get some log dogs to help hold the logs still when you’re peeling them. I’ve seen really simple dog that just made out rebar bent to look like a giant staple with sharpened ends. You just hammer one end into the log you want to peel or scribe and hammer the other end into the cross log below. I think it will reduce the effort it takes you to peel and shape the logs. I’m enjoying your videos very much.
