:_PowpowPOW: Hi everyone wanted to address the issue of us not playing the guitar.
Its important to note a few things. My entire point of this video is to point out the problems with a Fake Les Paul that is trying to deceive people. The moment you start comparing sounds ( on youtube) it turns the video into something it was never meant to be. I on purpose wanted to keep this about what was wrong with the guitar aesthetically and internally. I think comparing sounds is a great video idea just not for this particular one.

I bought a Chibson to ensure the headstock would not break off.

The funniest part is Gibson employees talking about quality control.

Joe asked where the demand is coming from. It's coming from everyone who wants a Les Paul but doesnt want to pay 5 grand for one. It's only going to get worse because now Epiphones are expensive too.

The issue is not someone selling a $300 Chibson. The issue is someone on the secondary market selling a $300 Chibson as a $2,000 Gibson for $2,000.

It made me chuckle when one of the guys was explaining how Gibson were not using a correct fretting calculation for a while, so you can often tell a real vintage Gibson from a fake one, because the real one wouldn't intonate at all well. The fake one would not have realised this and would have done it correctly 'by mistake'. Hoo boy.
