  It&apos;s not Isekai Nazis, it&apos;s Isekai WW1. There being a massive disparity with technology and tactics not having caught up with the new tech happened in real history too, when WW1 broke out there were still cavalry units, people realised pretty quickly on the field those weren&apos;t much good against machine guns. <br><br>Also, the story is hilarious. With these reactions you get the impression that Tanya is all gung ho about war, when it&apos;s the opposite. She at various points tries to get injured and honourably discharged, get cushy management jobs far away from the front lines etc etc, but she keeps accidentally overperforming and &quot;promoted&quot; to special ops. <br><br>It&apos;s the same with the &quot;training&quot; she does, she dresses it up as being a tough drill instructor but she was just trying to get them to quit so she could say &quot;well I would have loved to put the special ops team together and go to war with them but I can&apos;t find suitable personnel&quot;. And again, she completely against her intentions instead succeeds creating a platoon of nut jobs that can keep up with her.<br><br>The other comedic bit is that she&apos;s so committed to being an atheist that she&apos;s literally arguing about god&apos;s existence <i>with</i> God (or allegedly God anyway, I didn&apos;t finish the LNs but there&apos;s pretty good reason to believe Tanya is actually correct and it&apos;s just some particularly powerful being, not capital G god).

  They let Tanya in because she had magic, and legally there was no minimum age of enlistment for mages. The guy who let her in probably assumed she&apos;d flunk out of training but, well, Tanya.<br><br>Also, this is WW1, so &quot;Loli Hitler&quot; is an extremely misleading descriptor. &quot;Loli Red Baron&quot; is closer.

  To be fair here CJ&apos;s video paints her waaaay worse than she actually is, she is a very strict military commander that is always by the book and always operates under international law.

  CJ didn&apos;t really cover the story fully. &nbsp;Tanya was reincarnated by &quot;Being X&quot; cause he didn&apos;t have faith in God. &nbsp;If she dies again other than from old age, she doesn&apos;t get any more reincarnations and her soul is destroyed. &nbsp;So he decided to put her in dire straights to try and get her to pray to him. &nbsp;She joined the military to literally climb the ranks and have a safe job doing paperwork, but Being X keeps fucking that up for her. &nbsp;She&apos;s got a lot more moments of her being human to her subordinates than what is portrayed here in CJ&apos;s vid.<br><br>Oh, and the names are very close in terms of nations and cities to Earth. &nbsp;Paris is Parisee or something like that. &nbsp;The USA is the Unified States of America, etc.

  The parallels are that it’s WW1, but Tanja knows history and uses WW2 tactics. It’s a bit annoying reading everyone saying hitler and saying WW2 when it has nothing really to do with it except that the USSR was founded before the war and not during/after. Everything in the world politics is WW1 from borders and diplomacy. <br><br>Let’s not forget that the empire is fighting a defence war; every other country starts attacking the empire one after another; the only conflict the empire starts is against a small country I will not mention as it’s spoilers.
