I mean, the reason they might be more rushed to get Ohtani pitching is because of what we started this stream upon: roster space. Ohtani isn't a two-way player this upcoming seasons anymore because he didn't qualify last year. He needs to qualify for two-way status with numbers of innings pitched or starts--I forget which but either way he needs to pitch X amount of times to help alleviate the roster crunch situation.

As a Yankees fan as well as the dodgers are run right now, I don't understand why guys leave this organization to chase money like segar and Manny and others. The reason is if they stay the would have legendary numbers to boost HOF case and win tons of World Series Champions.

Lakers defiantly won that trade got a top 5 NBA player and trade a very good player but, is on the decline and can still add pieces. I will tell you as a Boston Celtics fan why Mavs why give the Lakers a free pass to be very good for next 10 years and beyond. The LA Professional teams are winning right know La Rams young and very good especially on defensive line. Lakers making a move to very good for 10 years plus. Then the Dodgers one of the best ran organization in all of sports
