Marlena and return of Marlena, roasting a stripper, gay crowd work..,Matt understands that everybody appreciates being made fun of for fun, when it’s not out of malice. That’s why so many people who are differently abled, LGBTQI+ and have health concerns like cancer that they are battling or have battled flock to his shows and make a point of sitting where they have a chance of interacting with him. In interviews, Matt has shared how much it means to him to be able to include everyone and be appreciated with his crowd work. He also lets people he engages with know in the moment how much he cares for them and appreciates them for participating. Matt almost gave up comedy about three years ago, until a few video clips like Cookies and MILF (part one) went viral. He gained enormous traction on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. Since then, he is selling out arenas and other venues worldwide. His performances are one of the hardest tickets to get now.

  like many have said, you need to watch a full special of his.. fact is these were just the standout moments, in most of them, he will literally by the end of it be talking to them as best friends.. he has a way of shooting you down so playfully that he disengages any negative feelings for the roast.. and then he jokes with you and you forget he ever burned you.. its quite special to watch. Im early in this video with ya, but he has done this to people who have been epileptic at his show, or in a wheel chair, or deaf.. and by the end they are usually hugging or hes having a sweet conversation with them.. to me this is why he gets hate, no one realizes the other side of him that you have to watch or be at a show to really capture..

  That’s what he does and is the best at it. No lines. If you don’t like crowd work don’t go. That’s what most people are there for. If you notice most of the hecklers are laughing.
