  I think it wouldn't be fair to say Lexie and Cassie faced the exact same traummas while growing up because Lexie didn't have to deal the same objetification that Cassie were treated with so early in her life

  The getting up early and hours spent to look perfect for a guy that doesn’t GAF is brutal.  I have had such a problem giving so much to men who don’t give back much, just enough to keep me hanging on.  Seeing this was like a slap in the face.  I felt terribly sorry for her.  Too much exposure not enough love.

  It could also be argued that Lexy does have her own struggle with codependency, like her sister. But it only really shows up in her friendship with Rue. Who is constantly ignoring and dismissing Lexi

  I don’t think Nate is done with Cassie. When Maddie told her don’t worry this is just the beginning and walked out, she basically told Cassie he’s your problem now. Cassie will probably go through the same thing Maddie did.

  Agreed with everything but Cass did not give up ice skating , her dad couldn't afford lessons anymore.

  I actually love Cassie’s character because she is a very raw depiction of what love in high school feels like & how absence of parental figures can be completely debilitating

  There are so many pressures to be beautiful in ice skating or ballet not sure how that has nothing to do with looks I’m speaking from experience

  As someone who&apos;s been sexualized throughout her life, I can guarantee that you&apos;re set up for failure in relationships.<br>I was sexualized and groped wherever I went from the age of ten. And it unconsciously started becoming a belief that my body is the only thing that would be useful to get me a sliver of affection.<br>You hate it, but it&apos;s the only card you have. You don&apos;t want to use it, but it&apos;s what they seek you out for.<br>Love is always a heartbreaking ordeal when you know deep down they don&apos;t want you for any other reason.<br>I made some horrible decisions in the persuit of love, always getting manipulated by heartless lustful men. <br>It&apos;s a tough journey to realise your worth and move away from you need for validation, when everyone else seem to be getting the joy of love, without having to sacrifice your self esteem.<br>It&apos;s easy to say, that one&apos;s need for validation is pathetic, but when all you know is being ignored unless you are useful, it will consume you. <br>I am still a work in progress, at 27. I get scared when men even look at me, and when someone I like gives me extra attention, I genuinely wonder if they just want to use my body.<br>I am keeping my distance from relationships, even though I crave intimacy. I&apos;ve never even been anyone&apos;s actual girlfriend. Just &apos;secrets&apos;.<br><br>Sorry for the rant.😊<br><br>If anyone can relate with this, I hope we learn to love ourselves without feeling guilty. Like I said, it&apos;s a painful path.
