  i like to think that the opening clip of Mr Bean dropping out of space is because he&apos;s actually a human but the alien who kidnapped him thought he was too weird and drop him back to earth

  I introduced Mr. Bean to my 7-year-old son with zero expectations. I honestly thought he might find it outdated or cheesy.<br>I was completely wrong — I’ve never seen him laugh that hard in his life.<br>This kind of comedy is timeless. Mr. Bean will keep crossing generations.

  We literally raised “Mr. Bean” in our home. Our third son, looked like him, was skinny like him and acted like him right down to the teddy bear. All of his older siblings thought we should be asking if the BBC needed a little brother for him in a show it was that uncanny. Now our son is 40, and at reunions he still gets called Mr. Bean. Absolutely loved Rowan Atkinson.

  Not only is he an icon for being up there with Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton, part of the charm of the character is how Rowan Atkinson surprised everyone when year after year he proved to be &nbsp;the complete opposite of his character and one of the most interesting, well-spoken and intelligent man around.
