  Once I read a joke about the monster. <br><br>A tourist stays in a hotel on the lake of Loch Ness and asks the receptionist when the monster can be usually seen. The receptionist responds: “After a fifth glass of whiskey, sir”.

  As someone who grew up near Loch Ness, I can assure you all the monster is very real. You should all go and spend lots of money looking for it

  If I&apos;m ever traveling near Loch Ness or Sasquatch&apos;s lair, I will carry a camera to be safe. It is a documented fact that these dangerous monsters have never approached anyone who had a camera.

  regardless of if nessie is real or not, the general science done to explore a body of water like this to try to debunk such a myth is very cool and fascinating. science and technology have come so far

  The main thing that bothers me is how they say that lake was dead still and calm, when even a blind person could see the ripples and small waves from the footage of back then

  Irish here. Big old deep lakes have an atmosphere to them that lends you to believe all kinds of life in them. Lough Ree in Ireland has huge atmosphere.

  A similar phenomenon happened here in the Philippines, Taal lake used to have access to salt water but after &nbsp;a huge eruption, the channels closed making it into a freshwater lake. Several species of fishes evolved accordingly and now we have at least two unique freshwater species with saltwater relatives

  I wish there really was a long neck creature similar to a plesiosaurs lurking the dark waters, the thought of it is fascinating

  Took a boat on Loch Ness where guide told audience the sonar of a school of fish was Nessie. The sonar scope was on repeat so school of fish could be referred to over and over during his “ talk.” &nbsp;Scary thing was, most of the Americans on that boat believed every word he said. &nbsp;As we were leaving he gave us a wink, acknowledging that we knew his entire show was BS.
