You can tell I love "It keeps getting worse" story lines. Also,  What I like about the twist with TCO is that it isn't a twist itself. It's a catalyst, which is different. We, as the audience, already had a vague consideration that he didn't kill her based on context clues (the hesitation from the flashbacks). This was moreso for VICTIM to know the truth, and that's the catalyst moving forward for his attack. But unlike the "oh they were innocent" twists, this isn't in the same narrative logic. TCO was STILL an accomplice to the New Grounds incident, in the way that had he put more conviction to stop TDL like how he did in Showdown, he would have. It was a "I didn't do what you accuse me of", not a "I'm completely innocent". This is important because most twists like this absolve the accused immediately, which renders their suffering previously unjustified. If done incorrectly, this can make the previous turmoil and stakes meaningless because it's a big "oopsie!!". TCO's is the opposite, in my opinion. The punishment for his crimes by the hands of RocketCorp is a consequence, but it's no longer as a direct killer. Rather, it's for his passivity. He could've still helped Mitsi. He could've intercepted. So many could'ves and should'ves that make his actual redemption in 7 and 8 meaningful. Reformed, but punished. I find that interpretation of the "We got the wrong guy" trope very interesting.

I think the most f*cked up thing about this episode is the entire sequence where The Dark lord cuts Victim in half and the animation is the exact same as when Alan began to erase him. (As you can see in Episode 11 titled “Victim”) It pairs with the fact that Victim can never escape the brutal reality that his trauma will never leave him. What Alan / Noogai did to him, will never be forgotten. He will never be able to forget. And the fact that TDL is also Alan’s creation? Ugh.

But for Agent, he NEVER left Mitsi's side until he died. I think he blames himself a lot for not being able to protect her when she needed it, so when he saw her again, he went into autopilot and just stood by her.

Love that in the screen for Mitsi when Victim is checking who killed her we see "mission.Mitsi=obey(The_Dark_Lord)" already seeing what fuckery he was up to with his virus stuff.

In the moment Victim realizes everything, TDL just looks at him like "Whaaaat? Did I kill someone important to you or something?~"

Important thing to note: Hacker's main weakness is fatigue. Despite how busted their powers are, they are a normal stick that wasn't built to fight like the others are. Winning against Hacker is feasible as long as you can endure until they get tired. Plus, Hacker lacks durability. Throughout Hacker fights they completely avoid taking a hit. Anyone is capable of defeating Hacker. Side note: Even though they changed their name, Hacker is ironically, still a Victim. It's so tragic.

I think victim actually didn't wake up Mitsi with some "power of love" but instead with the last of his willpower as he chose to crawl towards mitsi and attempted to save her with a very faint but noticable blue electricity effect. (Very romantic if you ask me) Next episode, I find it interesting at how we are basically getting a rag tag team of the non super duper powerful characters crusading to try and beat the big bads. Mitsi and TCO might have some insane character development and if the next episode isn't a finale, I think it would be more focused on how the setting has become an apocalyptic world where the survivors have to band together and do whatever they can to power up. It's really reminding me of many great fictional apocalyptic storylines and I'm SOOOO excited on how the story will progress.

Something of note with Victim is that he’s a glass cannon. He has incredible powers being able to manipulate the environment around him and even disable other people’s abilities, but unlike TCO and TSC, he can’t seem to tank any direct hits from TDL. It fits his backstory and name as H4ck3r that his powers rely more on the tools at his disposal rather than physical strength, but it’s also sadly fitting that even after gaining so much power, H4ck3r is just as prone to pain and death as Victim was Because of this he had little chance of beating TDL. Victim had to evade, deflect, or block every attack, while TDL just has to endure and land ONE hit (kinda like sans vs frisk in undertale)

Ballista is my favorite mercenary, and I love how Ballista was smart enough to use the animator device while also stupid enough not to pull the door open. His only weakness is really really just a door :P
