I also made a detailed article based on this video:
https://andriytech.com/fydeos-review/

After testing FydeOS, I'm genuinely curious:

Would you actually replace Windows with FydeOS on your old laptop, or would you still choose ChromeOS Flex or Linux?

I'd love to hear your thoughts 👇

I think you should upgrade the ram to at least 8 gig. I have an 8th gen I3 laptop that I upgraded from 4 to 16 gb. The difference was night and day. At 4 gb the computer was so slow, now it is fast.

I'm interested Frydeos Because the CPU is light, it is not noisy and smooth for SSD users.

Unfortunately, they don't provide ISO format and it only work on laptop with iGPU only.

I've tried it on a Lenovo IdeaPad 330 14IKB ( Celeron 4786U ssdd 12 gb ram 256 hdd 500 triple boot win 11 linux mint fydeos ), it keeps giving errors on all versions (v22, 20, 19), tried all of them!! error 'loopdev,gpt12 not found' blah..blah..blah... even asked Gemini ChatGPT and gave up... maybe it's not compatible with my laptop ??

Actually Fydeos is good. But I tried it with persistence in Rufus and even tried installing the same to another USB 3 pen drive. It didn't work. Is there any option for doing that or to have persistence?
