It does not matter how many times I have derived this answer, I still get fascinated to think about how smart Euler must have been to get to his ingenious conclusion.

Every time I don’t have the strength to study (I’m a math undergrad), I watch one of your videos, and suddenly, my passion comes back. You’re inspirational, thank you for what you do.

Once it is explained, it seems remarkably simple and beautiful, however without the explanation, one is lost. Brilliant video as always!

One day I'm going to come back to this video and understand exactly what you're saying.

The Basel problem, is what made Euler famous.<br>He, Gauss, the Bernoulli brothers, Newton, Fermat and Leibnitz were killing it back in the day

The solution is truly brilliant but the lucid manner in which it was explained deserves a standing ovation.

Thanks. It's remarkable. I am humbled by your videos. I loved mathematics, but I only ever got one opportunity to do something creative with it. That was as a graduate working for the government. I was staggered at the power that an original application of simple maths had. My formulation resulted in doors being opened for me in the oil industry. I am forever grateful that I studied maths at university and that I dared to use it. Your videos are fun to watch and bring back memories.

That’s what I love about maths. The series doesn’t appear to be related to geometry but you’ve proved it is!
