You are confident and brave Maam ❤. I am watching from Switzerland, your story inspired a lot of people whose retirement period is just staying at the home care for an old ages.

The heat with the humidity has me crossing off the Philippines as a place to move. Am studying Italy and have been taking lessons in Italian for 5 months.

Ask your landlord to install window screens in your apartment to keep away mosquitoes. Mosquitoes are there 24 hours daily. Don't wait till you get dengue fever again. Also, ask your landlord to install ceiling insulation to minimize the heat from the roof. Insulation is sold at hardware stores for 45 pesos per square meter. Insulation is made of foam with aluminum foil backing. Filipinos don't let parents live alone. Children care for them till death. If you're in hospital, neighbors take turns caring for you. It's just how they are. You're never really alone actually. Enjoy your new life there. Good luck.
