  I&apos;d recommend a slight correction on <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZf9R3i6ZTo&amp;t=580">9:40</a> that when volume is lost, Kidneys response is intact so they excrete less Sodium (U&lt;10) in order to hold on to water.

  Why did I watch all of this? I&apos;m not a med student at all, just someone who was in the ER, ICU, then regular hospital bed with hyponatremia. I have refractory epilepsy, and after one year on double the max dose of Lamictal XR I was having intolerable side effects, so my neuro tried Trileptal. That&apos;s when things got scary.
