I had the privilege to meet this man in 2006 when I was walking past RadioCity and he was talking with the bassist of his former band I believe. I very nervously said hello and he warmly invited me into the conversation, and he was one of the most genuine and kindest people I have ever met!

He just sounds like a gentle and kind soul. Someone who truly cares about his fellow man. His creativity is off the charts. We need more people like Mr. Stipe.
