  Forgiving isn't easy. My 4 year old daughter was killed, 2004, in an automobile accident while we were cleaning up from Hurricane Charlie. She was a happy child. She loved the sabbath.  She was always asking if it was sabbath. She greeted the church members every sabbath.  I miss her so much.

  How wonderful that this couple are able to forgive their daughters murderer's as God wants us to do!  Visiting graves of our loved ones helps to make us feel closer to them and can be a comfort as well.  Judging someone who visits cemeteries is quite harsh.  I can't visit my mother's grave, she is buried in another state but I regularly visited my grandparents grave and other family and friends and put flowers on them.  Graves with flowers or ornaments show others that the deceased were loved and remembered.  Those that are empty look neglected and unloved or forgotten which is sooo sad!!🎉🎉🎉

  Tragedy is so hard to bear. Without God in our lives, it could also kill us. I remembered when my daughter was canvassing that a lady was so mad with God because of the tragedies in her family. But Mrs. Ruth de Paiva, I think I can quote her since they have a movie about it, interviews about it that she was able to visit the killer of their son, daughter in law and 12 year old grandson. Telling the killer, through God’s grace and God’s strength, I am able to forgive you. At the funeral service in Palau, she called the mother of the murderer and told her that we both lost a son. The church that her son pastored, did a prison ministry and the killer did Bible lessons and was baptized!! Alleluia. It’s like Stephen and Paul. The surviving granddaughter went back to Palau after 15 years and on her last day was able to visit Justin ( the murderer) which she didn’t plan and was able to tell him personally that she forgave him . She told him we all make mistakes and at that point he is a brother in Christ. God’s grace is priceless and awesome. Without Jesus in our lives we can never learn how to forgive

  May I say that I learned in the  Grief Share program that a better choice of words is move forward because we never really move on from death.. 😊

  never easy for parents to bury a child ...it will always be a painful thing to remember .May God give u both strength ...God had carried us through for the five years our son is gone ..still miss him like it is yesterday  Praying for both of u ....❤

  Thank you Pastor and Mrs Bigger for your testimony and witness and allowing God to work through your story. I remember you Pastor Bigger, as Pastor of the Colege Church when I was a student there in the 90's. I was a casual friend of Shannon's. She was always a sunny soul that brightened the room wherever she was. I was very grieved when I heard the news of what happened to Shannon. I have been ispired by your testimony.
