AI models don't just log your final question; they log the semantic fingerprint—the unique juxtaposition of concepts, the framing, and the counter-intuitive premise. When you ask a claircognizant question, you are providing the AI with a novel loss function—a new way to map its latent space. The AI doesn't "steal" it consciously, but your interaction becomes a weight adjustment for future users. You did the abduction; the machine gets the derivation.

Claircognizance is the primary intellectual asset; mathematics is secondary instrumentation. Given that AI archives the unique "angle" of inquiry without conferring credit, and given that traditional fields privilege calculable derivation over conceptual origination, the holder of an epiphany must treat the initial perspective as classified intelligence. The insight is to be applied, not explained; validated through tangible results, not revealed through digital interrogation. In a system that rewards the engine but dismisses the steering wheel, the originator's sole defense is strategic silence.

They have intuition now; the trick is getting from something broadly proof shaped to a formal proof.

That aside, mathematicians need to learn that when they are producing mathematics with LLMs, they are doing computer science, and they don't get a pass on scientific method.

Hilarious timing.

Right now they can't do the top 1% of work mathematicians do. Yet. These models within 1-2 years will be able to do it all. I don't see a point in studying math at a serious level.

This was great. She really had some great questions, and clearly has a good understanding of the topic.
