From a long time wife and mom you did a great job. Always set up the kitchen first. Then the bathrooms and bedrooms. You'll find that some of what fit in the old place may not fit in the new one. Just the way it goes. Good luck and happy homemaking!

Jenia, That is a great tip for cleaning under the lazy susan with a rag and turning it! In all of my houses over the years I have never even had a thought about cleaning under there!

Great job putting your kitchen together! Such a big project and it must be so nice to be able to cook again.

I recommend one of the first things you do is reseal your sink around the counter. Butcher block counters are wonderful but need a little more maintenance if you have a sink set up like yours. You don’t want mold!

To clean under the lazy susan you can use the vaccum with the cervice tool.

I cook well. My kids are all in college now and I don’t cook as much. I grew up in a poor family and we cooked all of our meals and my parents and grandparents were excellent cooks

Loved watching you unpack the kitchen and seeing how lovely you made it look. So pleased your cat is loving the new home too and exploring it. Enjoy making it a home and the garden. Angie uk. Xx

Thank you for making this video! I've had it playing as I have been unpacking at my new home. It has been lovely to have you for company (in video form!) and I felt less alone with all the work and the dirt!!

Hi Jenia, very well done on getting the kitchen unpacked & ready for cooking.
I like preparing meals for my family and feel that fast food & take-aways are not a healthy option.
If the sink drain is the nastiest thing you find I’ll be so pleased for you, as this house was filthy when we moved in!!
As always thank you for doing these videos and see you next time.
Sending a cuddle for Katya x
