  I grew up the same as you, Chris. I would load up my saddlebags and take off on my horse all day long. Mom never knew where I was. But I was home before dark. We were free range kids and I feel fortunate to have grown up in the 60s and 70s ..

  I had heard a similar story of again, lost little girl, she said that a big hairy lady found her and held her hand and walked her closer to the campsite where they were looking, and then quietly left.  She recalled it was obviously female, and acted like any caring mother would. She was very young, younger than six I think.

  Her thinking her family left her to watch the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tM8G369CTjs&amp;t=300">5:00</a> news is heartbreaking. I got lost in the forest as a child too and was filled with dread and fear, im so glad she got back. Poor girl

  This one left me in awe. &nbsp;When it looked up at her, it was as if the Sasquatch was telling her, you’ll be ok now little one.

  Great story! &nbsp;I was lost once in Ontario Canada and will never forget it. &nbsp;It was one of the most stressful events in my life. &nbsp;I had a map but not a compass, the terrain did not present anything I could use as a reference point and it was a cloudy day so I couldn&apos;t orient myself by using the sun. Everything looked the same, my map was useless. Little Katie was braver than I was and maintained her composure much better than I did. I am somewhat embarrassed to admit I am a veteran and prided myself on map skills and had been orienteering numerous times. I found my way back to camp by the grace of god. Any cockiness I had before being in the woods evaporated. I was very humbled. &nbsp;I probably would have died of a heart attack if I had encountered a Sasquatch during my experience. &nbsp;I now always carry a fanny pack which contains my gps, a compass, fire starter, whistle etc. if I wonder from camp or go on a walkabout. Kudos to little Katie! &nbsp;I really enjoyed the story Chris, thanks!

  Sasquach made that sound<br>in order to draw them<br>to her, he knew they<br>where getting closer<br>so he walked back<br>into the trees to take<br>cover. (amazing)

  BEST bigfoot story EVER! Every kid imagines a friendly giant as a friend, &nbsp;dinosaur, &nbsp;bear, lion but a BIGFOOT! wow! What a lucky little lady!!! ❤

  I thought bigfoot was calling other sasquatches to it&apos;s location, but relieved to learn the sound of clacking rocks helped the girl&apos;s family find her. Love heartwarming stories!

  I actually got a bit of the chills listening towards the end. &nbsp;Some of the more amazing Bigfoot encounters are of them rescuring children lost in the forest. &nbsp;Some, the Bigfoot carried or dragged the child back close to the partents and then departed. &nbsp;One a female (they usually are) gave a roundhouse fist to a bulls skull that was attacking a boy in a small tree in West Virginia. &nbsp;The bull dropped to the ground and then she put her foot to its head for good measure. &nbsp;Then there is the case of 3 year old Casey Hathaway in Jan. of 2020 missing 2 days in the forest of Eastern, NC. &nbsp; &nbsp;Massive 2 day search by hundreds, only to be found close to his Grandmothers house surrounded by thick briar type bushes he would have never walked into and crying and discovered by a rescurer walking the road. &nbsp;Wearing only a light jacket, he spent 2 low 20 degree and damp nights in conditions that should have led to death by exposure according to seasoned rescure patrol and yet was in great condition and just wanted to go inside and watch TV. &nbsp;He stated he was with a bear that also kept him warm at night. &nbsp;I believe he was with a female Sasquatch as his favorite cartoon was Masha and the Bear, and at 3 years would be his thoughts of what a bear was. &nbsp;This story of Katie is unique in that it showed what we have always thought that the Sasquatch do rock clacking for communication, and in this case it worked very well. &nbsp; I for one would love to hear and interview of Katie. &nbsp; Thanks for this great story Chris.
