  Just saw this video for the first time and you broke my heart with this story. I am currently finalizing my collection in GT7 and was looking for the exact details as best possible for her car. I have others done and remember when the movie came out cause for the first movie I had an RHD 1995 Mitsubishi Lancer 1.5 12valve SOHC carburetor ex-Rally Car from a Caribbean dealership that I bought over with a roll cage and barely an interior (and only 5,000kms), got my dad’s buddy to customize completely over as a street car and it was painted in Diablo Orange from the 2002 (I think when it came out) and had tan leather interior and Sports Rally bolstered seats from a C62 Lancer and White rims with interior parts with exterior custom colors. By no means was it fast, so eventually that same guy sold me a JDM spec 2002 Honda Integra Type R (not even in GT7), and that car had everything, 5Zigen Catback, Momo Steering, Mugen Aero Kit, Endless Brakes, Hondata ECU Tein Springs and shocks and a bunch of stuff, and remember making the mistake and going to the movies to see the 2nd film as I just got the car. Leaving everyone wanted to race, and I had owned Civics SIR-II Sedan EK3 and VTI (SOHC) hatchback and even a EG8 SiR, and around the same time the owner had brought in Evo 6s and 7s and even two Nissan Sylvia S15s but before he got us into the JDM tuners he even owned Nissan 180SX and brought in the islands First NSX Type R. Shame to know they destroyed this car. Going to sleep and given up this livery edit at the moment.

  The vehicles were: crushed, lost, stolen, swapped between countless buyers around the world damn shame not many are still around 25 years later.

  Nobody wants to drive a tank or an ancient muscle car to race. Those things are heavy and found every corner. The things about jdm is getting rare imported and even discontinued parts.
