  I was sent to that place where the black is blacker than anyone could ever possibly imagine. There are no words to describe the intensity of the horror, the pain, the suffering, the depression, the feeling of absolute hopelessness, and worst of all the absence of God. It was a bottomless black void filled with screams of torture, and I knew there was no escape from it, it was eternal. I was falling deeper and deeper into it and screaming in agony and terror. It felt like burning hot razor sharp claws trying to pull me down when suddenly, I came out of it and was screaming in terror and lying on the floor of my friends house. He was freaked out, and pale as a ghost. He&apos;d heard me screaming from downstairs and later told me he thought I was being m*rdered. He ran up to see what was happening but I was in the band room with the door closed. I was in there alone but he said he couldn&apos;t open the door even thought he tried with all of his strength. When he finally got in I was writhing around on the floor and screaming and crying hysterically. I truly believe I had died and was being sent to the place I had earned. I was a terrible person back then, and I hated God. I blamed Him for all of my problems. It brings me to tears to even type this today, because I am filthy rags, a vile sinner, and undeserving of a single blessing from God. I am unworthy to even speak His name. But He has worked a miracle in me and blessed me with eyes to see and ears to hear the Truth. I was once prideful, but now I am now a humble servant of the Lord. Praise and glory be to Him!

  Nov 20, 2003, I met Jesus face to face in a hospital. Nov 19, 2003, I went to the hospital because I knew something wasn&apos;t right when I gotten sick and couldn&apos;t go from one room to the next without feeling like I just ran 20 miles. The hospital kept me overnight thinking I had Hepatitis C. The next morning my health had went downhill so they took me by Ambulance to a hospital in Tulsa. The doctors thought I was losing my mind. They didn&apos;t know my heart was working at 20%. I became hestarical telling my mom to get me out, that death walked to my hospital room and pointed at me. That&apos;s when an evil spirit attacked me trying to take my life. I fought back. The doctors first put me in restraints and I broke out of those. Next 2 doctors, 2 helicopter pilots, and 4 nurses tried holding me down, they thought I was fighting them, they didn&apos;t know I was fighting the evil spirit. My heart stopped, the doctors began resuscitating me, they brought me back and that evil spirit kept trying and finally my heart stopped, shutting down my lungs, liver, and kidneys. Then the room filled with the brightest, purest, white light and that evil spirit shattered when Jesus and all His glory entered the room. He took me by the hand and said come. As I turned back to see my lifeless earthly body being revived by the doctors. The doctors put me on life support and told my parents to make funeral arrangements, I wouldn&apos;t live through the weekend. &nbsp;When I was with Jesus, His love, peace, and His Glory flowed through me, it was healing me. The peace and love that surpasses all understanding. I begged Him to stay but He said my work for Him isn&apos;t finished. He wasn&apos;t done with me. He sent me back and 3 days later I started waking up from my coma. The nursing staff, the doctors all said they witnessed a miracle from God because everything they were taught from their schooling said I shouldn&apos;t have lived through it. But what Jesus did for me on the cross said otherwise. He is the Great Physician, the author and finisher of my life. By His stripes we are healed and I wholeheartedly serve Him. 20 yrs later, I have no heart issues, no problems with my health. Jesus is tangible and very real, as for me and my household we will serve the Lord. I thank God for another year and I thank Jesus for my healing and salvation. I can&apos;t wait to see You again.   My son died by suicide two years ago today and i have been constantly in pain believing God sent him to hell. &nbsp;This episode gave me great peace re-hearing God is compassionate, understanding and rescues those who cry out to him. &nbsp;I believe my son left this world in pain, being abused by others and that he knew what a loving father was (God I pray that I showed him that) enough to cry out for God. &nbsp;Thank you Shawn, this literally saved the rest of this life for me. &nbsp;Semper Fi.

  I couldn’t keep myself together when he said that Mary had said Jesus &nbsp;held her. My 3 yr old daughter said that Jesus rocked her in the big chair when she was in an induced coma while recovering from a bone marrow transplant from her identical twin sister. Upon waking up she constantly said she wanted to go back to be with Jesus. It broke our hearts but she did go home with &nbsp;him shortly after. She also had encounters with her Angel during the nights always laughing and talking to him as her sister was sound asleep. She said the angels name was Tommy and that he was tall as the ceiling with long white hair and big fluffy wings. How wonderful Heaven will be for us all.

  I was a full blown militant atheist with a muslim background and long story short, one night hundreds of demons came and tried to abduct me (i thought it was alien abduction) and something in my spirit (holy spirit) made me cry out to Jesus and all the demons left and I saw Jesus and I was instantly converted to Christianity. ALL GLORY BE TO JESUS CHRIST!!!!

  4 yrs ago I lost my father and it sent me on a journey to try to find answers to what death is. I started with NDEs. I watched 100s of them on YouTube. Everywhere I looked it seemed to mention Jesus in some capacity. So I finally started looking into the man we know as Jesus. Then I came across Lee Strobel “a case for Christ”. It answered a lot of my questions and after almost 4 years of looking into this life and death game we’re in, I’ve accepted Jesus as my lord and savior. God bless everyone on their journey 🙏

  I watched this podcast when it came out, and then read the book. It made me realize I didn’t understand Christianity as much as I thought I did, and that it was worth some serious consideration.<br><br>After serious consideration, months of serious consideration, I became a Christian. Our family found a church we love. It’s been a journey, but a journey that I can trace back to this podcast. When he said “I[Jesus] was always there, I was just waiting for you to turn to me.” It was like an arrow to the heart.<br><br>Shawn Ryan and John Burke, thank you for spreading the light.

  Ive seen this happen to a patient of mine. Im a ER nurse in south Louisiana, I had a patient suddenly go into cardiac arrest. I called a code blue, we got her back for about 30 secs multiple times, each time she came back she was screaming in admiration, “praise God, OHH praise GOD!”… im an idiot, I was thinking she was grateful we got her back. After about an hour coding her she eventually didnt come back and died. It wasn’t until 3 days later that i realized she could not have known she coded or came back, she was talking to someone. And thats what it sounded like when she was speaking.. she was praising God in His presence. Im an honest man. That absolutely happened. That is in no way blown out of proportion or exaggerated.
