Man prime Thiem was something to behold. You just had to be there.
I really hope Thiem gets at least some of his earlier success again

This was one of the extremely rare matches where Djokovic did all he could and still lost somehow. One of the best matches of 2019!

Did anyone realize that Thiem has defeated Djokovic,Federer and Nadal in the last 3 months?

Anyone else likes the play style of Thiem?

Sunday will be interesting. Novak doesn’t like to play against people who can essentially beat him into submission from the baseline, and in most cases I’d say Thiem was the favourite. However, this IS Rod Laver Arena we’re talking about here, and Djokovic just doesn’t lose at the AO. It’s going to be a great match!

Only Wawrinka in 2014 /2015 & thiem like this can generate power like this...
This is as much powerful groundstrocks as anyone can hit...unbelievable...💪💪🙌

The sustained power at the end of that 5-3, 30-15 point is something I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen before.

Thiem earns it in a hard way, climbing the ranks in the era of the three GOAT.
