George's fascination with words comes from his parents. They were both English teachers. His dad won awards at speech competitions (yes, those were a real thing back in the day).

My favorite comedian ever.<br>He had a knack for making people look at themselves and laugh. All he did was bluntly point out the stupidity in our society with a mix of facts, sarcasm, vocal inflections, facial expressions, and directness.<br>The GOAT.

George Carlin - Politicians and lying words is one of my favourites. I believe it's one of the last before his final heart attack aswell. Alot about language in that one too

About 3 or 4 years into my nearly 11 years as a paramedic, I realized how often I'd remind an ambulatory patient to "Watch your head" as they climbed into the back of the ambulance, then wondered, "How can you possibly 'watch your head'?" Your eyes are IN your head. You'd need a mirror to actually "watch your head"!
