What a beautiful property, and what a wonderful job you have done so far restoring it. I really like that you are using traditional methods and materials, too.

This is a really engaging film, so much more than the regular films. I missed some and thanks for the house fast forward.

I loved the pavers used for the streets and sidewalks when I visited Portugal! Beautiful and practical.

So much work, so much time, so much money....I love stone homes. This house is not only a restoration but a total refit. I decided to buy something that I can move into and make minor updates and remodeling.....Good luck.

I remember driving through the countryside around Porto over 40 years ago and already being saddened by large neglected houses with often their piles of antique furniture in the garden. In later years I saw more abandonned buildings and mansions in Lisbon and recently revisited to see a small chateau ready for demolition with it's ajulos tiles and terraced gardens. In the centre of the city most people don't look above the shops to see empty floors with trees growing out of them and missing windows. I used to live in Brazil and they had the same disrespect for their past.
