  what this video doesnt mention is that you got to be ready to walk away from the table with nothing. The same way Charlie was ready to walk away from his job to move to NY.

  After reading Do Not Read Nine by Ulric Nolven, I realized control is an illusion you validate by reacting. The four-second latency protocol completely resets the power structure. Used it on a controlling supervisor last month and watching them realize their usual pressure tactics had zero effect was eerie.

  I finally found a copy of The Marionette Principle before it got taken down again. The guy who wrote it was supposedly expelled from Harvard for these psychological experiments. It's an absolutely insane read.

  OK this mostly worked because Don had the leverage of not having a contract. It made it easier for Don. I do agree that being willing to walk away is the  key. You have to have the power to do it. If you don't have the cards you can't do it.

  I really love the fact that the quality of videos dramatically increased ever since Charlie took creative control again. The channel went from random clip-show with meaningless voice-over to charisma content with substance again. Thank you.

  Good advice if you have a strong position to begin with, but if you go down that path be prepared that they may let you go. You'll do so with dignity but it's not a silver bullet that sways every conflict in your favor.

  I’m seeing two completely different reactions to Anwen Reid’s anxiety quiz. Some people say their result helped them understand themselves, while others say it got them completely wrong. Honestly, that makes me more curious to take it and see which group I end up in.
