  Metal Sonic should get the Galactia Knight treatment. He only appears rarely and when he does, he is the hardest fight in the game. Kinda like in Sonic the Fighters.

  There is an interesting theory, that Robotnik didn&apos;t actually build Metal. In sonic CD animals were being robotized entirely. there are also multiple futures where sonic saves or fails to save the world, &nbsp;meaning sonic himself may have been robotized in the bad future after he failed. which would explain why he has so many personality traits similar to sonic as well. (like the cocky finger wave)

  One way I&apos;ve been interpreting the character is how from the moment his existence began, Metal Sonic&apos;s identity had been stolen from him. His design, his abilities, his name, it all revolves around someone else... and that pisses him off. To put it in more robotic or computerized terms, imagine trying to create a new file with the same name, format, and location as another file. (Let&apos;s say that file is &quot;Sonic&quot;.) You can&apos;t, because you&apos;ll get an pseudo-error message telling you to either rename the file (or put it back if you moved it to the same place as the file that&apos;s a close enough match), or have the new file replace the old file. That is what Metal Sonic is doing. But since he still can&apos;t kill Sonic, he can&apos;t &quot;hit the &apos;replace file&apos; button&quot;, so to speak. He&apos;s effectively stuck perpetually with this exact error message stuck in his head that he can&apos;t get rid of. Metal Sonic cannot keep his own identity as long as Sonic lives. His entire existence revolves around another person... and it pisses him off.

  I actually love metal sonic in heroes. He was legit menacing and even scary. I had nightmares with this metaloverlord form when I was young.

  He&apos;s low-key the coolest character in the franchise and a most interesting fan theory about him is that he&apos;s the original Sonic and the one we have running around is a clone (- ^ )

  Personally, I think Metal Sonic (and honestly the whole cast) could use a design upgraded/update. <br>Outside of that I think in order for metal to be taken more seriously, his story needs a bit of an revision. <br>- Metal should be Eggman&apos;s greatest weapon<br>- Metal should go rogue and have his own agenda<br>- Metal should never return to eggman even after defeat<br>- Metal should be willing to learn new ways to fight and get stronger.<br>- Metal&apos;s goal should always be to defeat Sonic (his original purpose)<br>- Metal should only transform once. &apos;Super Form&apos;<br>- Metal&apos;s abilities should be equal to or greater than that of Sonic&apos;s.
