Great! Greetings from Slovakia. This restauration reminded me of my childhood. My grandfather (born in 1898) belonged to the last generation of craftsmen - wheelwrights, who made traditional wooden wheels and large horse-drawn carts of a similar design to your cart, used in agriculture in the 1950s and 1960s, completely by hand using traditional technology. He made all the parts using two-handed knives, chisels, hand planes and drills, or a pedal-powered lathe. In the interwar period, he worked as a tradesman, and after World War II, due to the regime that prevailed in the former Czechoslovakia, he practiced his profession as a member of an agricultural cooperative in a workshop in his house. When he retired, he made and repaired similar carts for neighbors in the village, like the ones you restored. These were still commonly used in rural households in my childhood. He was clever and very precise, he had no problem making furniture and various decorative objects. I fell in love with working with wood from him and that's why I love watching your videos in which you save old pieces and give them new life.

Bellissimo perché conservato e bellissimo perché sembra il carrettino delle favole. Ancora una meraviglia dal grande Luca

Absolutely love that old wagon, I'm so glad you were able to save it. The repair and preservation work especially on the wheels was superb. Many wood workers go too far and refurbish or drastically change furniture and remove it's vintage beauty.
