I enjoy most of these with similar outlines and scenarios. There are usually a few good laughs, a worthy, but poorly treated by her family, heroine, a cool, feisty, protective, intelligent and genuine kind, dowager duchess, rescuing her son, the duke. There is always a final suspense, before the happy ending, which I like. Thanks for publishing.

The dowager would not have been wearing a cap like that. She would wear a lacy mob cap. And although they often appear in Regency fiction, there were no tea rooms yet. Even if there were, a young lady would not have gone there on her own.
